Bhutto New GM At Meritus Mandarin Haikou

Meritus Hotels & Resorts has appointed Ather Ahmed Bhutto as general manager of Meritus Mandarin Haikou.

He has over 30 years of hospitality expertise in the Asia Pacific region — including 20 years in China — having worked with major hotel brands that include Hilton Hotels, Marriott Hotels, and the InterContinental Hotels Group. Prior to joining Meritus, he was the general manager of Crowne Plaza Changsha. A native of Pakistan, Bhutto speaks Mandarin, and is equally proficient in the Shanghainese and Hainanese dialects.
