Grand Opening For The Westin Hefei Baohe

Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide has announced the grand opening of The Westin Hefei Baohe in Anhui province.

The hotel is the tenth Westin hotel in China, and also the first Starwood hotel in Anhui province. It is located in the city center just nine kilometers from Luoggang International Airport, and is within two kilometers of government offices and 20 minutes from both the New High Technology Industrial Zone and The Economic and Technological Development Zone. It is also adjacent to the city's Wanda Plaza where a wide selection of restaurants, bars and world-brand departmental stores are available for its guests.

Paul Cunningham, the general manager of The Westin Hefei Baohe said that he believed that both tourists and business travelers alike would be delighted by both the luxurious accommodations and instinctive services provided by The Westin Hefei Baohe.

The hotel offers 313 guestrooms, including 22 suites and a 336 square meter presidential suite. To help guest keep in shape, the hotel has two Westin Workout Room that offer a cross trainer or upright exercise bike and dumb-bells in the room. All guestrooms also offer a choice of wireless or cabled high-speed Internet access, iPod docking station and connectivity panel.

Five dining venues in the hotel offer guests variety of cuisines ranging from authentic Cantonese and local Anhui dishes to steaks, and seafood — as well as a wine and cigar bar.

For meeting planners, the hotel offers more than 2,300 square meters of meeting and function space. The Westin Grand Ballroom can be divided into three parts and all seven multi-functional meeting rooms are equipped with state-of-the-art audio-visual facilities. The hotel offers both wireless and connected high speed Internet access in all areas of the hotel.
