China's online travel reservation market jumped 58.4% year on year to CNY6.16 billion in 2010: according to a latest report released by consulting firm iResearch.
The results showed there are three main reasons for the growth: first, the continuing economic recovery; secondly, the 2010 Shanghai World Expo and the 2010 Guangzhou Asian Games helped boost the domestic travel demand; thirdly, major online reservation service providers have launched various promotions to boost sales.
The report also said that China's online travel reservation market will continue to grow rapidly over the next four years.
