Travel search engine Mobissimo has launched a Chinese website cn.mobissimo.com which features searches for air tickets, hotels, and car rental: as well as showing prices in Chinese Yuan.
The site offers flight options in mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Southeast Asia, and other global travel products. Mobissimo's new China site includes fares and travel offers from local travel agencies, hotels and all major and low-cost airlines relating to users in China for travel worldwide, covering local suppliers such as Agoda, Air China, China Southern, Ctrip.com, Amargo, Hotel Travel China, and Zuji.
Beatrice Tarka, the CEO of Mobissimo, says that entering the largest Asian marketplace is a new milestone in Mobissimo's international expansion strategy. She believes China and some emerging destinations in Eastern Europe are expected to become the travel hotspots in 2011.
With the addition of the new Chinese site, Mobissimo covers local and international travel deals for twelve of the world's top online markets including North America, Brazil, Mexico, France, Italy, Poland, Spain, Germany, the UK, India, and Japan. Users can also access Mobissimo's travel search engine directly on Facebook. Mobissimo claims it simultaneously searches more than 180 different travel sites in 30 countries and five continents.
