Wyndham Xiamen Achieves National Five-Star Status

Wyndham Hotel Group recently celebrated the formal announcement of the hotel's official, national five-star hotel ranking from China's Tourist Hotel Star Rating Committee.

To commemorate its five- star status, Wyndham Xiamen hosted a special party with over 500 guests in attendance, including government officials, key trade partners, media and other special guests. Dominique Galperti, the general manager of Wyndham Xiamen, commented that this accreditation from China Tourist Hotel Star-Rating Committee served as encouragement to strive even further for excellence in the service that they provide for their guests.

The hotel features a 20-meter-high waterfall and seven-meter-tall chandelier in its lobby, as well as 588 guest rooms including 161 guest suites and 130 serviced apartments, all with ocean or city skyline views. Wyndham Xiamen's top five floors are home to the Wyndham Club with over 90 executive rooms. Guests checking into the Wyndham Club rooms receive chocolates and cookies in their room, plus free access to the Wyndham Club Lounge at any time to enjoy the hotel's signature cocktails.

The 26-floor hotel offers five food-and-beverage outlets, including a Chinese restaurant, specializing in Cantonese cuisine and Xinnan Xuan regional specialties; the Le Rivage Cafe, offering a view of Gulangyu Island; and JuJu An, featuring a wide variety of fresh sushi and teppanyaki.

The property boasts 3,450 square meters of meeting space including a 1,260-square-meter grand ballroom that can accommodate up to 1,000 people and eleven meeting rooms with state-of-the-art audio visual equipment.Located in the heart of Xiamen's business and shopping district, Wyndham Xiamen is located just 20 minutes from the Xiamen Gaoqi International Airport and Xiamen International Conference and Exhibition Center.
