InterContinental Beijing Beichen Gets Five Stars

InterContinental Beijing Beichen was recently awarded its official five-star accreditation by the China Tourist Hotel Star Rating Committee, the official hotel rating body for China.

The process involved a detailed assessment on every aspect of the hotel's facilities, condition, operation procedures and service quality that involved all levels of staff and management over a six month period.

Located at the edge of the Olympic Forest Park, the hotel is interconnected with the China National Convention Center and offers a choice of three restaurants and bars and a wide range of event and catering services. For meetings and events there is a grand ballroom and nine multi-purpose meeting spaces totaling over 1,800 square meters.

Commenting on the accreditation Daniel Arbenz, the general manager of the hotel said that the official five-star accreditation was recognition of the hotel's achievements in an important Olympic sport, exhibition and meeting area and it put the hotel at the top of the game. He added that the hotel would continue to build on its excellence and would set new benchmarks for the industry in Beijing.
