Star Alliance Reintroduces Agent Incentive Program In China

Star Alliance has reintroduced its Xingkongdazhan campaign in mainland China, promoting the fare products Round the World, Circle, and Airpasses.

The move is intended to strengthen communications between Star Alliance and ticket agents in mainland China and offers agents the chance to win prizes when accessing the website xinkongdazhan.com.

Commenting on the initiative Jia Tiesheng, the chairman of Star Alliance CSC China said that because of its world-class member airlines, superior networks and the attractive frequent flyer programs, Star Alliance fare products provide passengers with unparalleled travel experience. He added that their RTW product is even more competitive than similar fare products offered by other alliances.

Jia stated that with the strong support and active participation of agents, Xingkongdazhan 2010 was very successful. And in 2011 they had adjusted the rules to allow more agents to benefit from this campaign. In the meanwhile, in order to improve efficiency and simplify communication they have also added more functions on the website so agents can fill in and submit the ticket information, and redeem prizes once they log in their accounts.

The Xingkongdazhan campaign will run until August 14, 2011. All ticket agents certified by IATA in mainland China can take part in this campaign and Star Alliance CSC China will keep all agents updated about the latest development of the campaign through TravelSky’s white screen, eDM, weibo on Sina, and via SMS/MMS.
