China UnionPay Issues New Business Travel Credit Card

China UnionPay and China Eastern Airlines have entered into a strategic cooperation agreement, and issued a three-party co-branded business travel credit card in conjunction with Agricultural Bank of China and Hanting Hotel Group.

Based on the agreement, China UnionPay and China Eastern will cooperate in issuing a special UnionPay card, expanding the utilization of UnionPay cards in aviation, offering multiple channel payment for air ticket booking, and conducting joint marketing and promotional activities.

This new Golden Harvest-Hanting-China Eastern card is the first of its kind in China, connecting different industries. It offers financial, aviation, and hotel services to people who travel frequently to and from major cities inside and outside of China. It integrates the functions of Golden Harvest credit card, China Eastern membership card, and Hanting membership card.

An official from China Eastern commented that this partnership will be the start for cooperation between the two parties. China UnionPay's payments will help expand channels for air ticket direct sales, and provide a more convenient service to passengers and guests.
