Hong Kong, China, April 27, 2018 /Isentia Wire/ - Fujitsu Hong Kong has announced the appointment of Leo Ng as Chief Executive Officer. A veteran of the IT industry with more than 20 years of experience in Greater China and Asia Pacific especially in the area of enterprise solutions and the services business, Mr. Ng will chart Fujitsu Hong Kong’s company direction and business strategy, steering the company on its transformation journey by supporting customers to embrace cutting edge technologies such as AI and IoT in the digital era.
“Many Hong Kong businesses are already well on their paths to digitalization, but the right resources, talent and support need to be in place to realize their digital vision,” said Mr. Ng. “I’m deeply honored to lead Fujitsu Hong Kong in driving digital business and helping customers discover more opportunities by accelerating their digitalization,” said Mr. Ng. “Digital co-creation is Fujitsu’s unique approach to solving today’s most challenging issues with technology. In line with this, I will also advocate closer collaboration with business partners and industry stakeholders to drive the co-creation of digital solutions for our customers.”
Mr. Ng will pilot Fujitsu Hong Kong to integrate digital solutions such as IoT, video analytics and cybersecurity. He will continuously work with the management team to strengthen Fujitsu’s position as one of the top five IT services providers in Hong Kong1 .
Previously, Mr. Ng was General Manager of the Sales, Marketing and Solutions at Fujitsu Hong Kong, where he spearheaded sales and marketing, including the growth and development of strategic and major accounts and channel sales for market expansion, with ongoing assurance of client satisfaction. He also led the strategies on alliance and channels to expand the breadth and depth of Fujitsu Hong Kong’s client portfolio in mid-markets.
Mr. Ng brings with him a strong background in the leadership of sales, marketing, as well as product and service development. Before joining Fujitsu Hong Kong in 2016, he served NetApp for four years with his last position as the General Manager of Hong Kong Macau. He has also undertaken senior positions in various technology companies such as ATOS Hong Kong, Cisco Systems Asia Pacific Japan and Hewlett Packard Hong Kong.
