Edwards New GM At Shanghai Marriott Hotel Hongqiao

Michael Paul Edwards has been appointed as the new general manager of Shanghai Marriott Hotel Hongqiao.

He has 12 years of experience in the hotel and hospitality industry. After graduating from the Blue Mountains International Hotel Management School, he began his career with Peppers Retreats and Resorts in 1996 in their Sydney office. He was the general manager of several hotels including Peppers Fairmont Resort Blue Mountains, Peppers Anchorage Port Stephens, and Peppers Convent Hunter Valley. Prior to this assignment, Edwards was the resident manager for Waikiki Beach Marriott Resort & Spa Hotel.
