Anhui Tourism Administration And AASS Renew Agreement

Anhui Provincial Tourism Administration and the Anhui Academy of Social Sciences have renewed a tourism development cooperation agreement concerning a joint Anhui Province Tourism Development Research Center.

ATA and AASS jointly established the research center in December 2007. The center has planned and issued the first batch of tourism research topics and in August 2009 it published the Anhui Tourism Development Research Report 2008 based on these research results. This publication has gathered research results such as tourism industry transformation and upgrading, tourism industry integration, the group development of tourism enterprises, and offering theoretical guidance and a scientific basis to Anhui's tourism industry development.

It is reported that the center will continue to publish research topics for 2010 and the results are expected to boost the sustained, healthy, rapid development of Anhui's tourism industry.
