Shangri-La Hotel Changchun Welcomes Xu As GM

Jordan Xu has been appointed general manager of Shangri-La Hotel, Changchun, which is the first international five-star hotel in Jilin Province.

Xu has 30 years of hospitality operational and management experience, and has been with Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts for over six years, having joined the group in 2004 as resident manager at Traders Fudu Hotel, Changzhou. He returned to hotel operations and management in 1993, after spending six years as a professional trainer in the hotel industry. Prior to his new appointment, Xu held a similar position at Traders Hotel, Shenyang, a post he assumed in August 2007.
