Taiwan Sees Mainland Tourist Numbers Hit 2.14 Million

According to Zhou Qingxiong, the president of Taiwan Visitors Association, the number of tourists from mainland China visiting Taiwan hit 2.14 million in the first seven months of 2010.

In the first half of 2010, the number of visitors going to Taiwan via Fujian Province reached 298,000, and other tourist groups totaled 11,676.
