OCT Eyes Over 25 Million Tourists In 2010
OCT Enterprises Company, one of the largest state-owned real estate developers in China, has announced that it expects the number of tourists visiting its scenic spots and staying its hotels will exceed 25 million in 2010.
The announcement was made at a press conference to mark the company's 25th anniversary.
The company said that about 21 million tourists will visit its scenic spots in 2010 and about four million tourists will stay in its hotels, which means that OCT will be able to reach its goal of attracting 20 million tourists two years ahead of its schedule.
Established in 1985, OCT has built 13 Overseas Chinese Towns and nine theme parks across the country. The company says that over this time it has created 33,000 job positions and has attracted more than 160 million tourists.
