Heilongjiang Ski Festival To Open Soon

The 13th Heilongjiang International Ski Festival is scheduled to open on December 12,2010 in Harbin, capital of Heilongjiang Province.

Themed "China's Heilongjiang, World's Skiing Festival", this year's event will promote the new spirit of low carbon, ecology, civilization, and health leading the development of global ski travel.

The annual tourism event will include more than 100 skiing competitions and entertainment activities, including cross-country skiing and ski weddings.

Heilongjiang province currently has more than 100 skifields, 200 trails, 60,000 items of ski equipment and 60 ski clubs.
