Doubletree by Hilton Qingdao/Chengyang Awarded Five Stars
Doubletree by Hilton Qingdao/Chengyang in Shandong province recently received its official China five-star hotel rating credentials from the China Tourist Hotel Star-rating Committee.
Speaking about the recognition, Timothy Soper, vice president of operations for Hilton Worldwide Greater China and Mongolia, commented that they were delighted to announce that Doubletree by Hilton Qingdao/Chengyang is the first Doubletree brand hotel in China to receive a national five-star hotel rating. He added that this recognition is symbolized their commitment to further expanding their presence across the Hilton family of hotels in Asia.
Stefan Schmid, the general manager of the Doubletree by Hilton Qingdao/Chengyang said that it was indeed a special honor for the hotel and all its team members to be awarded the five-star hotel award from China Tourist Hotel Star-rating Committee. And he promised that they would continue to offer their guests more enjoyable services by following the national five-star hotel operation guidelines.
Doubletree by Hilton Qingdao/Chengyang features 320 rooms (including 24 suites), with extensive meeting and event facilities designed to cater for up to 750 people. It is located in the heart of the Chengyang District and is only six kilometers from Qingdao International Airport and is close to attractions such as Ba Da Guan, the Tsingtao International Beer City, the Tsingtao International Beer Museum, local hot springs, and the Olympic Sailing Center.
