Vincent Thong has been appointed as General Manager of Sheraton Beijing Dongcheng Hotel, which is scheduled to open mid 2011.

Thong, a veteran hotelier, started his career back in 1985 and his career has taken him from Hong Kong to many destinations in mainland China. Prior to moving to Beijing, he was complex general manager overseeing two Starwood hotels in Guangzhou: Four Points by Sheraton Guangzhou Dongpu and Sheraton Huadu Resort. He joined Starwood Hotels & Resorts in 1999.
