Crowne Plaza Paragon Xiamen Welcomes GM

Magandran Suppiah is the new general manager of Crowne Plaza Paragon Xiamen.

Originally from Malaysia, he has more than 20 years of experience in the hotel industry, and has been working in InterContinental Hotels Group for more than 14 years. He commenced his hotel career with Petaling Jaya Hilton, Malaysia in 1984, and first worked in China in 1992 as assistant food and beverage manager at Holiday Inn Dalian.

He has now joined Crowne Plaza Paragon Xiamen as general manager to take charge of pre-opening operations. Prior to this position, he rebranded Crowne Plaza Suzhou from the New Suzhou International Hotel. Prior to joining the Crowne Plaza Suzhou, he was the executive assistant manager in Crowne Plaza Parkview Wuzhou Beijing from 2003 to 2005. He holds a Diploma of Food & Beverage and Hotel Management from Switzerland and a Diploma of American Hotel & Motel Association.
