Jujiajiao To Build Tourist Distribution Center

By the end of this year, the ancient town Jujiajiao will start building a tourist distribution center, which is expected to be the distribution center in the western area of Shanghai.

The first phase of new tourist distribution center is scheduled to be completed by the 2010 World Expo in Shanghai and it is to be taken as one of distribution locations for tourists participating in that event.

According to the relevant Jujiajiao department, the tourist distribution center covers a total construction area of 123,000 square meters and is located south of the Huqingping Express Way, and north of the A9 Highway.

The tourist distribution center is planned to have about 3,200 parking spaces. Besides necessary traffic systems, the center will also have a series of supporting facilities including a 10,000-square-meter cultural park, a 30,000-square-meter town, a large greenbelt, and a shopping mall. The center will connect all of attractions in Qingpu district, such as Jujiajiao Ancient Town, Qushui Garden, Qingpu Museum, Sheshan National Holiday Resort, Tianmashan, and Shanghai International Golf and Country Club.
