Elder Takes St. Regis Shanghai GM Role

The St. Regis Shanghai announced the appointment of Amanda Elder as general manager.

Elder previously worked in Starwood Hotels & Resorts in Australia and Thailand, as well as opening the first Starwood property in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Most recently she held the position of regional director of sales and marketing, Pacific.

A native Australian, she has a bachelor's degree from Auckland University, New Zealand, majoring in English and politics, and she has nearly 20 years working experience in the hospitality industry.
