Xiamen Airlines Establishes Branch Company In Hunan
Xiamen Airlines has signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with the Hunan government to set up a branch company in the province.
Chen Zhaoxiong, vice governor of Hunan, and Qin Xisheng, vice director of CAAC Central South Regional Administration, attended the signing ceremony.
According to the agreement, Xiamen Airlines is allowed to establish its branch company at Hunan Huanghua Airport and make the airport its new operational base. The company has become the second airline to open a base in Hunan following China Southern Airlines.
According to local media, the passenger flow in Hunan's aviation market exceeded 8 million last year with an annual growth rate of 20%. With Xiamen Airlines settled, there will be more flight options for passengers. Hunan government said that it would offer the most favorable policies, best environment, and high quality services to support Xiamen Airlines' local development.
