BTG-Jianguo Signs In Henan For Its Sixth Hotel This Year

BTG-Jianguo Hotels & Resorts Management Company Limited has signed a cooperation agreement with Anyang Huaqiang New City Development Company Limited in Anyang, Henan.

According this agreement, BTG-Jianguo will operate and manage a new hotel, which will be the company's sixth property signed in 2008.

The hotel in the pipeline is located in the Anyang Economic Development Zone. It is a 220-room five-star standard hotel and will be re-branded under the brand of Jianguo Hotel after it is handed-over by BTG-Jianguo.

Anyang is a historic and cultural city with a good development trend and has rich tourism resources. According to local media, there are currently three four-star hotels in Anyang, most of which have occupancy rates above 75%. The new hotel is expected to be the only five-star hotel around the city and scheduled to open by 2009.

BTG-Jianguo Hotels & Resorts Management Co. Ltd., owned by Beijing Tourism Group, is one of the largest hotel management companies in China. It focuses on in the hotel management, reservations and brand development. BTG-Jianguo presently manages more than 60 hotels throughout the nation, including properties in Beijing, Chongqing, Shandong, Henan, Shanxi, Sichuan, Yunnan, Ningxia, Qinghai, and Hainan.
