IHG Announces Opening Period For Huizhou Resort
The InterContinental Huizhou Resort says it will open its doors during the last quarter of 2008.
The resort offers 220 executive club guest rooms and villas. While all of the executive club guest rooms offer panoramic views from private balconies or terraces, the 20 villas combine classic Chinese and contemporary architecture and come complete with a personal butler service.
A spa and good golfing options are also available at the resort. Services are available for a Chinese medicine doctor who administers herbal remedies from the spa's own herbal shop and provides treatments such as acupuncture and other specialized traditional preventive and corrective antidotes. And the resort's 18 hole championship golf course comes with caddies handpicked for their experience, professionalism and understanding of the game. Unlike in many Chinese golf clubs, InterContinental Huizhou Resort's caddies will be fully salaried, with no tipping to be expected from guests.
The InterContinental Huizhou Resort is also planning a number of dining options for guests. The gastronomical flagship is the resort's Bamboo Garden, serving an array of Cantonese delicacies and introducing new intimate fusion styles. The resort's Olives & Herbs restaurant offers another blend of organic, nutritious, herbal flavored food with a setting, service and cooking expertise associated with InterContinental hotels and resorts.
