Grand Mercure Baolong Welcomes New General Manager

Thierry Goepfert has been appointed general manager of the Grand Mercure Baolong Hotel in Shanghai.

He started his career in the Sofitel Paris with various assignments and since 1990 he has worked abroad as a general manager in 15 different counties — mostly in Africa and the Middle East. Prior to taking up this post he was general manager of Grand Mercure Karachi in Pakistan.

Goepfert holds a certificate from Strasbourg Hotel Management School, France. He has extensive experience in the hospitality industry having worked with the Accor group for 30 years.
