Tourism Malaysia Promotes New Tour Products In Shenzhen

The Malaysia Tourism Promotion Board has held a tourism promotion meeting in Shenzhen to attract more tourists from the Pearl River Delta area to visit Malaysia.

Led by Chong Yoke Har, director of the international marketing division for South-east, North and East Asia of Tourism Malaysia, a delegation consisting of representatives from the board and Malaysian travel agencies held four days of tourism promotion activities in Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Guangzhou.

Tourism Malaysia has focused on promoting a series of 2009 new vacation products to attract Chinese tourists to visit such Malaysian destinations as: Langkawi, Redang Island, Tioman Island, Sipadan Island, Sabah Island, and Genting. It has also launched some discounted itineraries for five and six-day tours to Malaysia.
